What do you think are the chances of an easy retrofit? This would be great for my wife's HHR.

Thanks!

I assume you can cut the wire on this one and wire in the new connector on this one?

Would be able to give a wire diagram for an 08 and 09. Also is there a part number for the connector?

I assume this is a complete unit with Onstar mic and roof switches?

Ouch! I guess I will have to wait until some 09's are wrecked and check the junk yards... I hope it is a while before that happens as I don't want to see any wrecked.

05 impala visors w/vanity mirrors and lights

i just seen em on ebay. i think they were $58. i don't think the entire visor will fit , but maybe able to retrofit the mirrors/lights. if the color is a little diff , it wouldn't matter to me. they are out of sight most of the time, depending on where and when you drive.

It has clips that hold the assembly, but onto what? A plate above the headliner? Or does it clip into slots made in the roof sheetmetal? Anyone want to shed light (no pun intended) on this, with pics?

Any connectors can be had at the auto parts store, just wire them up...

7 year old thread.

If you mean the "standard" dome light fixture they are held via friction on the headliner and a strong magnet to the sheet metal.

Only because I want to have more light, while having the sunroof controls. And the one I seen has those pressure clips (4) on them...only thing is the one I seen for sale is asking $60 for it,and I'm trying to find one cheaper...
