15" wheels and tires

I'd like to hear from those (and possibly see pictures), of 15" wheels and tires.

Going to be purchasing white walls. I like the look of them on 15's over 16's. Tire Rack sells the 15" stealies, so getting wheels is easy. Hub Cap Mike has the smoothie covers in stock.

Post up and discuss...

Thanks!

What size are you starting from ??

I would go 15" wheels in a flash if I could get some good looking Chrome wheel covers to fit them.

Are the Steelies on Tire rack an exact fit with proper offset or are there issues?
Are they 5 spoke? Or?

Starting from 16's on an LS.

Tire Rack won't sell you wheels that don't fit, unlike the million other online places out there
They are very conservative in their wheel fitments.

Wheels are not 5 spoke.

Hub Cap Mike has plenty of chrome covers to chose from

I like the look you are going for. I don't know for sure but in theory it should work. One thought, get a tire that the OD is the same as your stock 16s. The tire may have to be a little narrower to clear the suspension. I would like to see some photos when you are done.

Several years ago I purchased 15” wheels from Tire Rack and they are a good fit indeed.
