In our travels today, we stopped by the dealership where I bought Smoke. Much to my surprise, they had two 2008 HHR's. One was a panel and the other one was a Silverstone. Also, much to my surprise, several of them weren't even locked.

Check out the roof rails...they are bright chrome and have black center sections.



And they put nitrogen in the tires on the 08 as well...note green caps.

 

I like it, course i think any color changing paint is . Just need to see it in person.

 

I have to agree. It looks a lot like DBM.

 

Well any shade of vibrant blue with ANY overtones of purple have always been my favorite color, periwinkle to indigo - so, I'm looking forward to seeing my first BFM in person or in a great photo. I wouldn't trade mine, but I will probably drool a bit. CONGRATS, and MORE PHOTOS please!!

 

My DBM has a purple look about it at times. I'm not sure if this new color is that much different. I would need to get them side by side.

It's hard to get a pic of the color-change. It's nicer than I thought. I still like a darker blue though.

 

Kinda looks like they just combined all the left over DBM & GTM.

I thought the beauty bar and mirrors were body colored? Is that only on HHRs with the Satin package?

Saw the new blue the other day.... it is very pretty... and it changes when the light hits it. Not sure I would pay the extra money for it . Actually I saw all the colors for the 2008 HHR except the white. Was like a kid in a candy store...... Our dealer is loaded with the 08's
