2008 hhr ss

Hello everyone, just a quick question, I have an 2008 hhr ss . i went to dealer to get new remote programmed and they said they got to about halfway done but said they cannot finish because the remote door lock receiver is bad. Does anyone know where it is located, I've been told different spots so i am not sure. Thank you all ahead of time for any help. just for background, i have had to replace just about all electrical components on it when i first got it. the person i bought it from did not take care of it.

The RCDLR is in the head liner, but may only require to be reflashed

There is a TSB about 2008 HHRs RCDLR. If the tire pressures cannot be reset it needs to have updated firmware installed. A new RCDLR would need the same updating.
Tell your dealer to look up TSB #08-03-16-001B dated July 31,2008. If you take it in with you be prepared for "attitude", they will discard any information from the internet even from GM. The first step in diagnosing in the Manual is to look for TSBs, they never do.
Here it is in a pdf:

Any chance the dealer was trying to run the update when the process quit on them? They’re supposed to hook up a charger when they do it to ensure that they don’t run out of power, especially if you have a weak battery? Any chance this is the same dealer that told you you needed to replace all those other electrical parts?
