2008 HHRitage Nationals Itinerary

July 24, 2008:
  • All day - Check-in & Registration
    6:00pm - Go-Karting (group rates=$13 for three rides; usually $9 per ride)
July 25, 2008:
  • All day - Check-in & Registration
    9:00am - Mini-Golf Tournament (entry fee=$13; includes two rounds of golf; low score over two rounds wins a trophy; usually $7 per round)
    Lunch @ Dockers (Mini-Golf award presented) (Group Rates = $8; ages 4-9=$5; 3 & under FREE--this price includes food, beverage, tax and tip)
    1:30pm - Tour '57 Heaven (1 free ticket included in goody bag + coupon for 50% off all additional tickets)
    4:00pm - Aurora Run & Show (run to Aurora MO where we are invited to have a smaller version of the HHRitage Nationals by the Chamber of Commerce who will provide a trophy; dinner at Hawgwild BBQ which will be giving all a discount on food & drink)
July 26, 2008
  • 8:00am-NOON - Check-in & Registration (NO registrations accepted after 11:30am)
    NOON - Judging begins
    Throughout the day - Washers Tournament; Horseshoe Tournament; Ask-A-Mechanic; Children's Miracle Network Presentation; Door Prizes Galore; Silent Auction
    3:00pm - Silent Action ends (Money collected, items handed out)
    4:00pm - Awards given; Presentation to Children's Miracle Network
    Dusk - Drive-In Theater - featuring:
    • Ingenuity in Action (1958) A hot rod movie that explains how to prepare a hot rod for entry into a car show and an example of how fanatical hot rodders travel across the country to participate in show and races all over the United States.
      AMERICAN GRAFFITI (1973) Curt and Steve have gotten into a prestigious college, but Curt is having second thoughts on the night before they're going to leave for the school. That night, Curt searches relentlessly for a spellbinding woman in a white T-Bird while Steve tries to patch things up with his girlfriend after suggesting they date other people while he's away. Their two other friends John and Terry also have a wild night, John when he's forced to chauffeur a little girl and Terry when he borrows Steve's car and picks up a girl but then has trouble living up to the expectations set by the car.
    Between films - Glow Show - A chance for those who have done lighting to show it off.

I'm just a little upset. I won't be leaving the house until 4 which will put me there around 8 (on Friday). That means I'll miss the Aurora run.
Either way, I'm still coming and look forward to having a great time!
