2008 Lt1

Thinking of moving from my 06 to an 08 just to get Xm,onstar & sport suspension, which is not offered on LT1. won,t buy LT2 cause I don,t like brightwork, holy roofs ,or wings & things. any ideas?
I spec/ordered the 06 LT1 w/2.4 auto & it,s the most fun this olwrench ever had, but i would like to know how to accomplish the above.

diffrunt....

Not sure about the "brightwork" (assuming you mean shiney chrome), but I think all that you have mentioned...sunroof, spoiler, etc. is OPTIONAL equipment on the 2LT.

But I'm afraid the sport suspension is only available on the 2LT..unless of course that has changed for the 2008 model year.

diffrunt, if you want to tighten up your suspension, the easiest way is with a Progress anti-sway bar, and possibly leveling springs.

As for OnStar, you need to get a new vehicle for that since you can't add it afterwards (different wiring). XM you can get a portable unit, but I prefer the factory installed XM for the car.

Correct about the sport suspension
the only difference is the shocks, (what type of gas is used in them)
Get the 1LT, change the shocks, add the sway bar.. and you'll have a real sport suspension then the 2LT...
