5 sec lock delay

Has anyone ever had any issues with this? Doesn't seem to work anymore on my 2010. Went into the DIC and set it to off, then on again but nothing

By issues, do you mean locking immediately or not locking at all?

Sorry, not locking at all. Started a few weeks ago but just started noticing--if that makes any sense.

I had not heard of this, I nave 2010 andon ocassion I have found my car unlocked and thought I had messed up. I try to hit the button twice to get the horn to beep to verify. But I thought I might have been distracted. I will watch this slosely in the future.

Dear Lil Cheney,

Have you been able to contact your local Chevrolet dealership about this? I am curious if you are within the mileage range of your Bumper to Bumper warranty. If you are, the dealership is where I would head about this. They could diagnose the situation and then evaluate if this is something that might be covered under warranty.

Even in my 07, I get out shut the door and within 5 sec, the doors lock, then if i want, hit the fob to activate the alarm. Been working in my 2010 but just noticed it not working anymore, so I have to use the fob

I changed my alarm/horn to beep on the first hit of the fob instead of the 2nd

Dear Lil Cheney,

I would have to agree with Old Lar; have you checked the battery. If you have already done so, I would recommend that you take your 2010 HHR to the dealership. This might be something that could be covered under your warranty, but the dealership will be able to determine this once the situation is diagnosed.

The lock delay has nothing to do with the key fob.
