OK. I have a question for those of you with a 2LT with the 5 speed tranny. Somewhere in all of the info that I have read about the HHR, I saw that the 2LT included leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter. I know the steering wheel is leather wrapped and the shifter for the automatic transmission, but what about the shifter for the stick shift? Does it have a leather ball or the cool looking chrome one? Just curious...

 

I have an auto but the 5 speed has a chrome knob. I looked at a 5 speed but I decided to go with an auto.

 

I've been wondering about the same thing, since I have a 5-speed 2LT on order.

Maybe (look at above pic) just the lower area is leather?

Anyone with the combo have input?

Personally I'd prefer the chrome, and even thought about a swap if not equipped that way.

 

The boot is leather and the bottom of the knob is plastic. Actually the whole knob is plastic because the chrome part is chromed plasic.
