Congrats Steve,

I know how you feel as I cannot think of a better daily driver.
I used to buy a new Suburban every year and when I retired and discovered the HHR I realized I did not need a BIG Daddy any more.
They went crazy with the pricing.
I bought a Brand New 1974 Super Cheyenne through the Fleet department with wood grain vinyl side paneling and Panel Rear doors, loaded to the hilt for $6500.
I continued buying up until the 90's then switched to Full size Beauville's and then Astro vans.
Bought my first HHR in 2011 and as you know I have owned 10 of them.
Just turned 40,000 on my current 2011.
Have you thought of updating to a low mileage HHR while there are still a few out there??
Corrosion from the winters finally gets them. This 2011 I bought last @ 27,800 miles and is clean with no corrosion.

Well, I have had to replace the fuel lines and 1/4 panels, thanks to corrosion, but everything else is clean!
Im fast approaching 500,000 klm but that’s only 310,686 miles, Oldblue is still rolling in style, so I don’t know how long it will last, but I’ll hang in as long as I can!

No question .. There's a lotta Sentimental value to Old Blue.
Especially when you look back at all the trips with Sweety along.
It took a while for my wife to settle down on this smaller vehicle but now she thinks it's the best thing we have had.
THEY GROW ON YOU !!
SUV's are all semi copies of each other. Most too high for getting in and out of unless you are 6ft tall or more.
Wish you Luck making 500,000.
