Sometimes when I get out of the car and the wife is still inside at a gas station I lock it up. When I come back, she opens the door and the alram goes off and again it;s a Toot toot toot. As far as alrams go, this is embarassing.

So the other day i decided to hit the panic button on the key just for kicks and again toot toot toot etc.

The pause between each toot is so long it seems like no effect at all. Now to get to the point is we seem to be constantly finding something new with these over time. can this alarm be adjusted? Maybe more frequent tooting?
If the alarm was triggered it should go into a loud honk after the tooting occurs.

If you hold the panic button down for a few seconds it sets the loud honking alarm off.

Yeah it gives a few seconds warning before the real alarm. Its a longer blast of the horn.

I like the rhythm of the honk. It sets it apart from all the other standard alarms out there. So you pay attention more if you hear it go off.

Does anyone read the owners manual that is in all new cars? Maybe you all like to be surprized or p----d off when it dont work or do what you think it should. page 2-18 in 06 manual. On page 3-47 tells you how to turn on/off horn on lock & or unlock also p 3-48 delay lock ect.tells about headlight flash lock or unlock you can have headlight come on when you unlock as you walk up to or help find it in a lot at night.. There realy some very good info in that little book Sorry just one of my little pet peevs that no one reads the owners manual not just for the car but on anything that has one.
