I originally didn't have gap insurance, but later the same day I bought my car I had a friend asking what I paid and what not and he asked how much the gap was and I told him I didn't do it. He literally made me turn around, and on the way he told me his horror story about it. It's saved his butt twice so far. It was only like 400 bucks so I didn't mind getting it knowing that in the worst case scenario I'll have one less thing to worry about.

From my experience with bend car frames.. The car is never the same..
even if they say they straighten the frame... the car never drives down the road the same or the suspension feels right..
I say... total the HHR and get a new one.....

Also.. I had a previous Harley stolen about 5 years ago...
and they even paid the difference in the DMV License that was left on it...
squeeze the insurance for that .. if they total it out..

Thanks, I'm just glad my 1 year old son and wife is alright. If something happened to them I'd go crazy.
