Another LED?

Been awhile since I posted.......So, I am thinking on installing the 3057/3157 Led bulbs for the tail light in white. I need to know how many LED lights per bulb would be effective? Would a 24 LED bulb be bright enough? Also, will I have to change to a electric flasher?

I tried doing a search on this subject, but no answer as to the LED light number.

thanks.........

If all you are doing is the rear stop/ park....a shunt is not needed. It's the kind of led (http://www.ledlight.com/t25-wedge-27...led-light.aspx), this link might work, might not. try to go with smt leds. not how many.....but many is good...... OR do like I did GO WITH MAGGIE...www.raceandstreet.com has a plug and play set up that is the BEST by far!!!!! Pricey but well worth it. PM me if you go all the way a round with leds, I did and I can save ya from buying inferior leds.

D@MN....link doesn't take you directly to the page....in the left column you will find the t25s.....open it and you will see the listing for the t27s........ but I tell MAGGIE IS THE DEAL.......you won't be sorry!

you will need to get red ones... white LEDs produce very little red...

a regular bulb produces all colors and the red lens lets the red come through.....

a led produces only the color you see.... yes white is all colors but as noted about only a little bit of red comes through a red lens....

reverse bulbs are 921 i think....

ive installed LED's i'll take a pic and post if you interested still...

Yeah, I wouldn't recommend white lights. They'll most likely appear light pink.
Here's my setup in the back. The tail lights are spiderlights, but you can't tell due to the blurriness.

For what it's worth, my experience with the LED bulbs is that they are very unreliable. The LED's will burn out one at a time. I've tried two different kinds.

I've had good luck with all of mine. They're about 2 years old.
