At some point we all have asked a "stupid" question or two. One of the reasons we're supposed to be here is to get & give info right? Moderator?

Not to put words into whopper's mouth, or more accurately, put words onto his keyboard. I don't believe his response was meant to be belittling or unfriendly, just that he was pointing out the dangers of reviving a long dead thread.

Due to our site's longevity, very old threads will pop up from time to time, and on occasion the merchandise referenced will be long out of production.

Our Moderators do tons of work here, most of it in the background, and being humans after all...they can be grumpy without meaning to be. The important thing is to not take things personally.
