Anyone remove the dome light?

I'd like to do a little work on it and would like an idea about taking the covers off. Don't need to remove the whole thing; I hope!

As with anything else on the HHR..........it just "snaps" off.

Painted myself and had the name cut at a local sign shop.

Can you be a little more specific?

I know in other places that "just snaps off", if you try pulling in the wronf place the tabs break.

Have you actually done this?
