Anyone Using 10% ethenol Gas ?

I was wondering if anyone is using the 10% ethenol blend gasoline, 89 octane? I use it in my 2005 GMC pickup without any problems. Just wondering if it would be okay to use in the HHR?

Thanks!

DL

Yes it is corn gas. GM has 4 models that use that technology, the Impala, the Monte Carlo, the 2007 Avalanche and 2007 Yukon, that run on an E85 ethanol engine, meaning 85% of the engine runs on ethanol, 15% runs on octane. It uses the 5.3L Vortec Flex Fuel engine.

Here in Iowa it is $2.26 per gal. It is 90% gas and 10% ethenol (corn gas).

Yep, GM's "Live Green Go Yellow" program. It was a thread JonyyB started a little while ago.

I believe this was the link to GM's site: http://onlygm.com for more info.

Hope this helps, JD
