I bought my HHR on September 5th and have had absolutely no problems. I would say to get a new HHR unless you are to worried due to all of your experiences. Good luck! Just make sure whatever you do you do not go to the darkside and buy a PT Cruiser. lol :)

you would hope it has nothing to do with the fuses being loose as it's been in the shop so many times. i'd go under the hood myself if i were you and check them out. you never know what you're going to get working with a dealer, and they could have passed that up completely.

just a thought...

Lemon Law

New York's lemon law is based on the amount of time you are without your vehicle and the number of attempts to fix a particular problem:
It is presumed that there has been a reasonable number of attempts to repair a problem if, during the first 18,000 miles of operation or two years from the original delivery date, whichever comes first, either (a) the manufacturer (or its authorized dealer) has had an opportunity to repair the same problem four or more times and the problem continued to exist at the end of the fourth repair attempt; or (b) the car was out of service by reason of repair for a cumulative total of 30 or more calendar days for one or more problems.
You must be able to establish the necessary repair attempts or days out-of-service due to repairs. Therefore, it is very important to keep careful records of all complaints, copies of all work orders, repair bills, correspondence, and all telephone and email communications.

NY Lemon Law

This isn't me making this up, it's copied and pasted from the actual law.

Gooe deal! The warranty alone is about $2000 and two car payments, another $700. Oil change at 60 for a grand total of about $3000 dollars. Not bad as long as it does not continue to give you problems.

1,500 miles and only 1 problem so far.. I wash it every 2 or 3 days due to winter dirt and salt.. and my coworkers are complaining that its so bright looking it makes everyones elses car look bad. (sunburst orange with full chrome).
You got a lemon. If you like the car except for the problems, get another HHR.
