Black vs Gold Chevy logo

I was wondering why my 2007 HHR has a black Chevy logo on the front grill when some of them have gold ? Is there a difference or is it a preference thing?

Funny thing, on my 2007 LS the front bowtie is gold and the rear one is metallic red, and from looking at your pictures, the center caps of your wheels and the front bowtie might have been painted by the previous owner, but it looks great

Personal preference. I love mine black. Custom painted it.

IDK I kinda like my fully painted beauty bar with bowtie...color matched to the rest of the car. This was done at a shop not with a rattle can.

I don't think you can go wrong with any color. It all depends on the car color and personal preference. This is one of the easiest and cheapest ways to begin personalizing your car.
