Bolt Size
Does anyone happen to know the bolt size/dimension for the bolts that attaches the transmission to the engine. I am trying to put a 2.2 on a engine stand and just can't seem to find the info.

They're metric of course, and as best as I can remember they are either an (m10x1.5) or (m12x1.75), but it has been a year since I bolted my spare L-61 block up to the engine stand.
Wish I could be of more help right now, but I can always double check when I get home tonight, if you can stand a six or seven hour wait. |
Oh I can def. wait. Thank you for the heads up. Your info is def. appreciated.

Cool beans!
I'll leave myself a note to back one of the bolts out tonight and verify the size, unless a member here beats me to it. |
OK, survey says...m12x1.75x50 for the bolt size.
Now, one caveat, every dang time I give a fastener size for an HHR it comes with a warning. Chevrolet liked to throw curveballs over the production life of these trucklets, so make sure things thread up nicely by hand. Stripped out bolt holes suck. |
Woohoo ! Thanks for the info!
