break pedal...

ok so am i the only one? the roads here suck and im allways driving fast.. so lets say im doin 50 n im coming to a red light.. when i hit the brakes if i drive over any bumps, the pedel jerks real fast. it almost feels as if the brakes arnt even working... this may stay this way for a full 2 seconds n then they start to work again...

Sounds like your anti-lock brakes kickin in to me.....

Yeah, that's the anti-lock brakes. They automatically pump to keep from locking up which takes the control of the brakes away from you. I don't like them because I have always felt that they increase stopping distance. Plus, I have enough situational awareness to know when to let up off the brakes myself. I think the only time they serve their purpose is in a full on, slam on the brakes cause I'm gonna die moment. It that situation, it's nice to still be able to steer the vehicle despite pushing the pedal through the floor!

ok cool i was getting worried because when it kicks in i jus felt like i have no control.. if the car stops its cus it wants to0 kinda thing... i dont think i like that feeling
