Burnt rubber smell

i just noticed this smell too, right front tire. I just put 2 new tires on front about 1 month ago. Never smelled this until now, looked under hood didn't see anything burnt???? Could it just be the tires?? I checked passenger side front, don't smell it there. The day I 1st noticed it, I was on a longer drive about 35 mins on the highway. My regular commute to work is only 15-20 mins.

Do you have the correct size tires and wheels?

Check to see if the tires are rubbing on the lower spring perch.

Could be the serpentine belt; are the A/C and alternator working.

Moved to a new thread , let's leave the dead thread alone, you don't know where it's been !

X2 on the tires as you say that's the most resent change prior to smell.

Funny thing about tire smells. I put some new tires on my 16' utility trailer several years ago. I could smell that almost "burnt rubber" odor every time I walked by my shop where the trailer is parked.
Seemed to me it was from the sunlight heating up the rubber since this trailer only gets used for trash hauling on my property.
Anyway. That smell was around the trailer for over a year until finally fading away. (Well, either it faded away or I went "nose blind". )

Could also be brakes or clutch...both smell very close to what burnt rubber smells...
