I keep mine under the seat when I take it. Either there, or between the front seats. I have an Interarms Firestar Plus with a fanny pack holster, so it will fit in a small space. It would probably fit in the map pocket, but would be hard to get to quickly.

I just went out and looked and in between the seats looks like the best place to get it quickly. Only other might be in the extra glove box on top of the dash.

It depends on how large a weapon you carry. My Glock 23 fits in th front dash box, but I prefer to have it in between the gear shifter and passenger seat in it's holster.(easy access) My Glock 21 does not fit in that box, so it rides in the front seat. Not to many options.

I have a High Point 9mm that fits in the dash box. We had the car for two days before the wife even noticed the box on top of the dash and when she asked what it was for, I told her that it was a gun box! I can reach it easy and it's easy enough to get at. Just hit the button and grab the piece. It's also good when on a trip and it's her turn to drive, I can reach it from either side. Be careful and watch out for the PT Cruiser Gang but I reckon they can't cause any trouble if they can't catch ya! Sonny Martin
