Changing trans fluid
 

I have a 2006 HHr and would like to change trans fluid as I have over 100,000 on it. Can't even find place to check level. Thanks for any help.

There is no dipstick. Mines a stick so I can't say for sure, but it would either have a pan to drop or a drain plug. There is a fill hole also (again, not sure of the location).

Changing auto trans fluid in my 2006 HHR. I can see the filler plug but how do you get your hand down there to unscrew it. ??? Thanks for any help.
Of coarse I drained fluid before finding filler plug.

A quick search with the SEARCH TOOL at the top of the page looking for "transmission fluid change", gave a nice link to https://www.chevyhhr.net/forums/maintenance-upkeep-50/transmission-fluid-change-easy-42736/ which describes how to get to the filler cap. :)

You just worm your arm through the wires, It is about 2 inches high and easy to grip.

Use a long neck flexible funnel to refill.
