The Chevrolet HHR stands tall in SUV market pool
Review on the 2009 HHR from the San Francisco Chronicle: The Chevrolet HHR stands tall in SUV market pool
|
From the article:
"Chevrolet calls it a "five-door" because of the rear liftgate, which can be opened using the touch pad on the key fob" I wish my 08 had this. SPPD |

That might be new for the 2011 HHR.

Dang.
I read the SF Gate all day and didn't see this! Cool. It was driving through Oakland back in 05 where I first laid eyes on the HHR. I'm wondering since he tested an 09 SS, perhaps those folks can say if this is true?? I am envious of my sister's 07 Tahoe that does that...but if I had to choose, the remote start means more! ;) But we all know it is a great car--although they forgot to mention the front passenger seat also lies flat--good for surfboards! @ |

I've seen better-written highschool newspaper articles than that review...but at least it was positive. Although if they're going to review the HHR, and not specifically the SS, they probably should have been given an LS or LT to test.

My 09 SS tailgate still must be manually opened... There is no separate "tailgate button" on the remote, and when unlocked, it does not "lift up" or partially open...
|
I thought the remote rear hatch was just not available on the SS 08 or 09 but available on the LT
