Control arm bushings
I have searched for bushing info and now am more confused than ever. I have a 20011
Lt1 auto with 74,00 mi. In the glove box there is a sticker with 11 rows of # in the 9th row it lists FE3. I would like to keep the suspension the same. I `am replacing the front struts with the quick set from Gabriel and the rear with KYB shocks. I would like to rebuild the LCA. Is Moog K200792 the bushings to use or is there something better. I would like to drill out the ball joint rivets and go with Moog K80567, on Ebay for $40.59 for a pair shipped. Is That the correct #. Or should I just go with new LCAs stamped steel or aluminum . Bushing and ball joint would be a lot cheaper. Some discussion on the right part #s so that is why I`am asking. Have seen some reviews the the Moog K80567 ball joints are junk. Opinions are welcome. That is the correct number for the Moog Problem Solver bushing.
Although the ball joints are not listed you should keep this thread bookmarked

If you have FE3 listed on the RPO tag, then you have a 2LT. FE3 was only available on the 2LT HHR in 2011. You've probably got 17 inch rims which is another option only on the 2LT.
(Fwiw. There is no LT1 in the HHR line. It's a 1LT. Number comes before the LT on the HHR's. )
Your post above says a 20011 model. Your profile info says 2001 model.
I'll just assume those are typos and you have a 2011.

Thanks George, You are correct it is a 2011. It has 17" rims and is a FE3. How can I change my Profile to show I have a 2011. I looked under my profile and did not see anywhere that I could edit my profile. You guys are wonderful . You sure make it a lot easier for an old guy. Will be 69 years young next month. Now I could still use info on the control arms. Thanks Lynn

As far as the control arms. Make sure to get the aluminum ones and not the stamped steel. Many companies out there have them for sale.

Go with the Moog K200792 rear LCA bushings and K80567 their bolt in ball joints and K200361 their front LCA bushings

It's abut of work drilling out the rivers for the ball joints , pressing out the worn bushings and in the new , but you'll not be changing them out for quite awhile!
These are my rear bushings with just 40,000 miles! The new Moog bushings have about 120,000 in them now!
You can cut out the worn bushing similar to this VW just hack saw the metal band !

Oldblue I can get 2 Moog K200361 for $20.94 Amazon prime. 2 Moog K80567 ball joints for $40.59. and 2 K6698 LCA bushings for $26.40. From What they say the K200792 won`t fit the 2011 HHR. Do you know if that is true. Do the front Bushing just push out and the new ones just push in, same as the front rear bushings.
