I finally gave up and took it to Dicks Speed Shop here in Arizona. They removed the cluster, replaced something on the circuit board and it has worked perfectly ever since.

The gauges on mine aren't working neither is the digital display, but the warning lights are working and my remote start isn't working either. It just honks the horn 3 times. Would those loose bolts also cause that?

Loose bolts in the fuse box, yes. Check the fuse #62 for the instrument cluster. Check for loose ground connections

So I got home last night and before checking anything, started the car up, and the gauges are working again, however, the remote start still doesn't. Just honks the horn 3 times and flashes the lights. Today I disconnected the battery, pulled the fuse box, cleaned the terminals underneath and cleaned all the grounds I could find. Gauges and everything else still works, even seems to run better, but still no remote start. I'm not going to worry about it for now as long as the car gets me to work and back, but I'm still wondering what caused it to begin with. And I made sure the fuse box bolts are tightened down quite well.

Check in the DIC if the remote start is enabled.

Check the CHMSL, the third stop light. Is the CheckEngineLight on?

Remote start is enabled. No check engine light, although I may put my scan tool on it anyway and all four bulbs in the center brake light are working.
