dead battery

dead battery

how to charge it ?
back door will not open with a dead battery ?
can i put a charger on the post under hood ?
been away a whille so i known it will be dead
any tips

Charger connected to the front positive terminal on the fuse box, then the ground to the stud on the shock tower

ok thanks
i parked it pulled in thinking i could jump it from back end
but with dead battery remote is no good
i will put a charger on a slow charge rate
thanks for the tips and help
will be back in fl. next week and get to work on this

I have not done it yet but there is a small plastic piece at the bottom of the rear door that you remove to open the hatch door.

yea that sounds eazy but its a pain in the butt had to to that to a parts car

You will be able to open the rear hatch if you attach the battery charger to the proper contacts under the hood.

Even a 9V battery and a couple of patch cords will do the trick if you don't have a charger on hand. If you wanted to get all official; apply 9V to fuse #10 underhood fuse box, pull the fuse and stick a paper clip in the "out to switch" side.

If you want to permanently disable the tailgate put a fuse in position #11. Then the next owner will have a real headscratcher.
