I got a X-mas card (I even sent one to my sales guy and gave him a bottle of my fav wine for helping me get such a great deal), dealer survey, GM survey, first oil change free, a few discount coupons for service and a really nice card from GM hoping that I liked my HHR (saved that one).

GM keeps sending me applications for a GM card and I'm also getting offers to buy something new.

I bought Blackie the weekend of my b-day last year (Labor Day weekend), so will see if they send me something. I bought my truck at the same dealer in 1999 and would get b-day cards.

I like my dealer

They not only contacted us to see that everything was okay, then sent a big basket filled with food, wine, pens, pads, etc. Way beyond anything expected.

Mine called to doubblecheck that I would mark COMPLETELY SATISFIED on the customer survey that GM sends. They made such a big deal about it that I almost gave them a crap score. Even to the point that they had me fill out a fake one at the dealership before I drove off with my car to make sure I knew everything on it.

Bad score could have been warranted considering that my tires were only half-full when I took the car home, didn't notice for a few days. PSI was about 20.

I'm not a fan of being bothered by these things, especially phone calls. Chris went to school with the person who sold us our SS and he did send us a postcard. That's enough for me. If I have a problem I will let them know

What's more important is how they treat me when I come in. They were great when we bought the car and did all the things we asked free of charge. Debadged the emblems, bought new bowties and painted them black, transferred our tinted tails from the old HHR to the new one. They even sponsored our Cedar Point Meet 2 years in a row.

I was called, but while I was at work so I ignored it and was just left a voicemail reminding me about the survey and to call them back. Bought my SS over 2 months ago and the car I traded in still hadn't been paid off so I'm glad I've been forgetting about the survey sitting in the envelope on my coffee table. Went in this weekend for a free oil change since I called and was upset and when our salesman asked about the survey I told him I haven't sent it in but that I was unhappy about paying 2 car payments the past two months. Needless to say, so he gets that survey turned in with "completely satisfied" marked I got hooked up with 2 free oil changes, my car washed and a fill up. It doesn't really make up for having to pay 3 car payments for 2 months including my husand's, but at least it's something.

No contact at all as I basically gave them a really bad time over it all. It was my money and I made darn sure i got the deal I wanted, not what they wanted. No love lost as I was also prepared for it all.

So Silver, how do they get away with not paying off yor car? I wouldnt worry about your survey, I'd be down there jumping down the owner's throat! Bad business.
