Difference between years

Is there a thread that talks about changes by year?I looked around before this post and did not see one. I saw a 2009 for sale and was wondering what improvements GM made over the years. I like my 2006 so much. I think I might be on the hunt for a nicer one and was wondering about changes. Thanks.

Check this link: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chevrolet_HHR
It covers it pretty good.

Thanks. Glad to see the window switches moved to the doors. I’m going to go look at a 2009 LT this afternoon.

Depending on which LT it should be a nice ride, look in the glovebox for the RPO codes!

2009 2LT 122000 miles and in excellent shape.

I am going to put my 2006 up for sale

hopefully I can get out what I have in the 06 and then the upgrade won’t cost me a lot.

Nice deal! So, tell us all about it, perhaps some more photos! Did it come with fobs, do they work, does it have remote start?
many knowledge about the engine? Service records, how are the brakes and suspension , LCA’s struts and shocks.
is the Dexcool clear? Oh and ah, it’s to soon to ask!

I will get some more photos tomorrow. The inside is really nice. I have the window sticker and it’s got about every option except USB on the radio. The older gentleman said he bought it in 2015 with 94k miles for $10k.
he had it serviced at the local Chevy garage and he said it’s never had a major repair that he knows of. He had the dealer flush the trans at the 100k service. It had recently been serviced and they said it all checked good. He was asking $5500 for it. I got it for $4500.
One remote quit so he got a new one at the last service. So I have two remotes and yes it has remote start and heated leather. Those two were a must have for me.

I made a spreadsheet chart of HHR motors. Don’t know if it’s possible to post a table but here’s a pic. Made it for my reference, not throughly checked or verified. Most of the info came from Wikipedia, the ultimate authority.😆
