I believe Chevy just uses it as a marketing tool.Other then skid pad numbers its all in the feel or track time to "see" what it really does to handling. It does work and I'd hate to say it but I'm beginning to think it could use an even bigger bar with a comparable bar on the front..its a short narrow car but with a high CG,so she still rolls a bit.But thats me,I prefer a tighter car, though don't take it as a complaint. Its a great stock handling car!
You can call it what you like but it is a stablizer bar and works as one. It is not just a advertising tool.

If you don't have an anti-sway bar, you need to drive an HHR with one. You won't believe the difference!

My son and his friend installed my anti-sway bar. I don't own a torque wrench. But, I won't need one to take it off, correct? I'll remove it before the trade then have my son install it on the new HHR when he gets home for Christmas.

By the way, I made an offer to the dealer and he hasn't gotten back yet. I paid sticker for my old HHR so I want plenty out of it. If they sell it on their lot, the new owner will get the 5 year warranty I missed out on. Also, I will have to pay interest this time so I expect a good deal on the new car. Besides, I don't need a new car but they need to sell them badly. It's nice to have the upper hand for once!
