looking for a source for a driver door seal -- dealer tells me there not made ?

Once you get the part number from an online GM parts site it's easy. You could also see if one of those sites has them in stock, most of the eBay vendors are GM dealers.

 

You need to find a different dealer to "deal with."
That one either cannot be trusted or is too lazy to be worth using.
