Mirror isn't responding to the controls. I can hear the motor working. Suggestions?

 

They get sticky from disuse. Move it around a bit. Try helping it move while operating the buttons. Also, the switch contacts get oxidized. Switch can be dissassembled to clean the contacts, but is also cheap to replace.
