Engine mounts

How can I determine I need new engine mounts?

Why are you asking?

Seriously. A few more details would help. First would be car, year, mileage,etc.
Second would be symptoms: "My engine shakes,rattles, vibrates."
"Someone told me so." "My engine fell out." etc. etc.

The folks on this forum are great at trying to help out and diagnois problems. BUT, without some details it's a little hard to make any suggestions.

I'm sorry. I'm new to forums. 2006 LT. 99K miles. automatic. a mechanic told me the bolts were fine but the cushions(?) were shot. I have new struts and shock absorbers but the car rides a little rough.

Welcome to the site Creamcheese, if he says the cushions are shot then change them out, check the want ads here on the site
