Dose anyone know where the serial number is loacated on the 2.2L engine?

How can I find if it is a match the the body?

Just asking because I bought a used Panel and want asure myself.

Take off the air filter housing and you'll find a label with a matching VIN on the timing chain end of the valve cover(left side if facing the truck). You just might be able to see it with the filter housing on, but its tight. The other location is on the oil filter bowl/housing with a partial VIN etched into the engine block casting. What makes you think this truck might have had an engine swap, its not very common, but not out of the realm of possibility.
