Unbolt the housing , you’ll need to drain the coolant first then remove the coolant temperature sensor.


The sensor is 19 mm the three bolts are 10mm

Thanks. I had forgot they were that housing…..this is the bolt. .

Fortunately I was able to get what was left of the exhaust stud drilled and out without draining the coolant and removing the housing with heater hose pipes or damaging the threads in the head

Jig

2 drill bushings, both .376-.377 OD so press fit in plate. 1 with .125” ID and 1 with .250” ID


the end of drill bushings I turned down to .308 cause that seemed the fit in the counter bore of the head, but I suspect probably really 8mm or 5/16 one. That is what I was able to use to locate the jig so bushing was centered.
