I read that as having a 35lb limit for whoever is in the tent. Everything official I've seen on the rack load limit says 165lbs, not specifying dynamic or static. I can say that a 225 lb person standing on the roof will permanently damage it.

 

The factory cross bars are rare. I’ve only seen one set in the wild. Maybe. Few left the factory with them. There were also available as dealer-installed accessory, although I imagine most buyers just took the box home.

Harbor Freight had some cross rails that were said to fit, a cut-to-length item. Only $75 or so a couple years ago, I recall. Maybe they still have them. I almost bought then (in stock) but then I sold my HHR with rails.
