Arrow Finding Dorman part numbers

As I understand, RockAuto and Dorman had a confrontation a few years ago. As a result, "some" Dorman parts have been removed from RockAuto's parts listing entirely. Some remain though, although hidden from view; i.e., if you know the Dorman part number, you can still dig some up. For those that you do not know the number, is there a way to see the available Dorman parts in the Parts Catalog?

Yes, that's what I do, but no Dorman options show up anymore (e.g., power window switch). But in the case that I know the Dorman part number, I can search and find the window switch.

I know some folks scorn them. I'm not necessarily loyal to them, but I've not had any problems with them, and their prices were competitive. That's why I will consider their parts when I'm price shopping.

Good point, there is a Dorman site to get part numbers online.
https://www.dormanproducts.com/

I moved this conversation from the RockAuto thread,

If you search Rockauto with the GM part number, the Dorman part shows up.

True. I guess this is one work around.

I installed a Dorman mirror switch in Toughie and it lasted 3 mo.
Installed a Dorman turn signal switch and it wouldn'e snap in without modification.
Went back to GM parts.
The few bucks more are worth the peace of mind and correct fitment.

I'm selective about what I'll install from Dorman. But so far, I've had no problems, and because their prices are competitive, I give them consideration when shopping.
