Front interior light stays on
Front interior light stays on
So I finished up the SS swap into the old fire truck panel. The car turns on and moves and stops and there's zero codes as of yet. The one problem I'm having now is that the front dome light out of the 3 is staying on while the car is running and while it's off.
I have seen that a door switch might be out but when I open the doors the back cargo lights go on them dim out shortly after the doors close. Any thoughts on where to start poking around? Yes the interior light switch is not all the way to the right and the buttons are all clicked off.

The dome light or the reading lights? The dome lights go to ground via the BCM
The light fixtures are held up by a magnet and friction with the headliner. The harness is glued to the roof.
Not wired directly to the door switches. The door switches send a signal to the BCM.
My guess is the switch is broken.
Here is a pdf of the wiring:

That is why I posted the wiring diagram. It includes w and w/o sunroof.
However, since all 3 of the lights stay on it seems they are getting energized from something else, like the sunroof controls.
The + for all of the courtesy and reading lamps come from the same relay and fuse. The ground go through the dimmer wheel to the BCM. There are supposed to be 2 different ground wires, 1 for the reading lights and 1 for the courtesy lamp.
I am suspecting that only 1 of those grounds is plugged in, the one that dims. Have you tried to turn the dimmer wheel to OFF?
