I cant believe that they have a mat for the entire back. It would also be good for the panals. I would go for it, but I am constantly using my back seats (plus all my stereo stuff is hanging off the back seats.) But the idea is great.

Ratracer, if you had done yours sooner you could have patented it and made a fortune

True

If they had only made SS sooner.......
The SS performance numbers is what put the HHR on my radar.

OK Ratracer, I may be dense, but how did you get that perfect cutout? If you figured it out, you might want to trace it on paper for others. Looks good.

I would like a copy of it if at all possible I just haven't gotten around to tracing mine yet. I want to do the carpet in mine.

You already own 66% of it. It's the cargo carpet that came with your ride. Once you cut the existing fitted section, the rest is minimal trimming. Just start with a 48" X 60-63" piece of your base mat'l, cut out all the known reliefs and slide in. Pressing down the mat'l into place will show you the rest of the cut lines. Pull out, clean up the cuts to your desired clearances and re-fit. Took about a 1/2 hour, 3 fits, a sharpie and scissors. Razor-knifed the straight edges. I rounded the front corners for a more manufactured look, but not necessary.

Well I cut out my mat last weekend. Went to lowes and bought some indoor outdoor carpet in Black going to take it to an upholstery shop to have them edge it. I made it in two pieces because I forgot to leave engough for the wider front portion. It's all good I figure it will be better when I put the seats up I wont have to bend or fold the fron piece. After I have it edged I will post pictures.

Lil different deal.. Harley Bed mat

Ratracer-

That looks really Good !!!

I went a different route, I scored a Ford / Harley Edition p/up tk (nos) Bed mat for mine off ebay... Made a precise pattern & cut to fit.
Absolutely Non-skid, I used to have to cargo net stuff down from sliding.. No more..
