Funny how an HHR changes everything.

With my wife's old car (2000 Ford Escort) anytime we would go somewhere together, I would drive. Now that we have the HHR it's a battle to the death everytime we go somewhere because we both want to drive and neither one of us wants to let the other one drive. We don't even like to compromise. One person drives to the place, the other person drives back home. We both want it all to ourselves. I should have just bought one for me too! :)

That's how we solved that problem!

Where in Missouri are you? We had a big HHR BBQ here last Saturday.

That sounds like the solution that my dad gave to me and my brother when fighting over who was going to get to ride up front. One up front on the way there, the other up front on the way back. Of course this was "BC" ........(before carseats):D .

I'd have to wait for the SS to get one for me. I prefer a little pep in my step :D

WAAHAAHAAHAA!!!..I find that so funny, When Wheelie came into my life, my Mother's relationship with me was changed!, I mean, she was always so nice and caring to me, but as soon as I bought Wheelie home, she has been MORE nice, MORE forgiving, MORE understanding..Etc..LOL...and she has a funny way of asking if she could drive Wheelie, about 5 minutes before she goes to work, she comes to me and kisses me on the cheek, she tells me to be good, that there is food in the fridge if I get HUNGRY, and to try to stay at home to save some money..LOL...then she bows her head down a little and says this:..ummmm...you have everything you need don't you, GOOD, So can I have your keys and take your car to work??...LOL!!!!

My wife gets upset with me 'cause when we go somewhere she asks "what do you want to take." Naturally I say the HHR. She then says her car runs just fine. To which I reply "you gave me the choice."

How about telling your WIFE, You`re driving and be done with it...
That`s what I did, she drives when she goes somewhere alone, Period...
