Funny Story....

I just have to share this little story with you....

Hubby and I decided to take another road trip, but this time we stayed close to home. We started our way to Daytona, Hubby got hungry and wanted to stop on the east side of Tampa. We noticed that we also needed gas, so we went right across the street to a very busy gas station. I don't know about you guys but I creep dawg my hhr, which is what I was doing through the lot of the gas station, when a sliver HHR came zooming in and almost HIT ME! Of course after a few deep breaths, I thought that would have been a crazy situation, to have been hit by another hhr. So anyways, after venting to Hubby I got out to pump the gas when the chick that was driving the other hhr came walking up. Now I thought I was going to jail for a fight! BUT that is not what happened at all. She was smiling and said she noticed I drive the same kind of car as her and she did not know how to open the gas tank. (being that she JUST got the car).Being me, I giggled and told her how to do it. Then you know that I had tell her about this site! And off into the sunset I went!

The End! lol

Heh, I've had a few strangers come up to me and ask me about my car. Unfortunately, most if not all of them have said, "Hey, is that the new PT Cruiser?" #$%*&^ (Like the huge bowties weren't a dead give-away...)

Congrats, Tekno - on your excellent show of restraint! :thumb:

You ruined a great opportunity to tell her that gas tank release levers were an option and that otherwise, you have to take it to the dealer for fill ups.

I've sold 6 HHR's from people asking me what kind of car it is and of course I love showing it off so I give them a rundown of most of it. Then I refer them to my dealership and tell them to make sure and tell them I send them and I get 200 bucks. So just from this site and knowing what goes wrong and literally knowing everything about the car I've made $1,200. So in reality my 1LT auto (tons of options) only cost me about $15,800.

Wow I wish I made money from the amount of people that I refered to the dealer.

Techno i'm glad you helped the girl. But it was wrong for her to speed. Plus it would of sucked if she really did hit you. I always wonder what are the odds of getting hit by the same type of car.

I almost could not restrain myself, I was very hard! LOL.....

It would have really sucked to be in a crash, I would have had to fight then! The hotel would have still charged me for the room, with no HHR to drive and hubby would have had to bail me out. BLAH!!!

you guys are A TRIP!
