Gas Pedal Issue

I have found that I have a serious gas pedal problem since I bought the HHR...it keeps going to the floor. So far I have escaped The Man, but close a couple times....come on, fess up...how many tickets have you "earned" with your HHR?

Lucky no tickets yet but... got pulled over twice in one night driving South on I-95. Got pulled over the first time in S. Carolina and then a couple of hours later in Georgia. This was in November of '05 so there were hardly any HHR's on the road plus I had N. Carolina temp tags.

One for cracked glass. How embarising, it's not even for anything cool. Besides who the hell gets a cracked glass ticket. The cop just wanted to be a jerk.

I got pulled over by a state trooper last week. I was coming off of a ramp and there was a car in the right lane that started speeding up. The ramp was coming to an end, and I didn't have the room to slow down, so I floored it and got in front of them. They rode my ass, so I sped up even more, and crossed into the left lane, going about 95.

Turns out the car that was behind me in the right lane was a trooper. He said he clocked me at 77, and that was after I slowed down. He looked at my license/registration, asked if I had any points, I said no, he handed it back, said have a nice night :)

I haven't had mine over 80 yet. The closest I came to getting bagged was in Connecticut on I-84. Good news was I could see his blue lights as I was cresting a hill, so I slowed down. Not so for the person who passed me and of course got a ticket. The luck of the Irish and a good union sticker always help too.

I got pulled over the first week I had mine. He clocked me at 88 in a 65. Luckily I had already cranked hard on the brakes as I was originally doing around 95. Also lucky for me, the PI license and some good ol boy chit chat went a long ways with the judge and it got dismissed so I'm clean on the record.
