Getting back in the saddle

Well as some of you know I had surgery on my wrist to repair shredded tendons and cartilage torn from the bones ( no clue when or how I did it ) just started hurting one morning and no strength to pich up anything. Surgery was June 27th, cast came off last wednesday and wrist is locked up , hand is stiff as well as muscle loss after 8 weeks in a cast...start physical therapy tuesday...god it hurts to try and move it, stiff as can be.

Anyways, The HHRs lower control arm had a slight shimmy when braking ( previous owner said he replaced one so there was the mistake ) so I will be ordering a new pair to install since it really started rattling while driving now so I assume the rubber has finally disenegrated in the bushing. Now just wondering if I can get it done single handedly myself?

You’re gonna need 2 hands, wait till you heal! Take care.

If you think it hurts now, wait till the PT touches it the first session.

Work that hand and wrist. It's painful but you need to do it to keep from having problems in the future.
Working with it will tell you when you had enough.

On another note, looking at rock auto...
For my 08 I bought the ACDelco LCA which were $178+ each
For the 09 I was looking at the MOOG and ACDelco, MOOG is about half price-ish..... which would be the better choice as I know they are both great brands but torn on the price differences and I was debating getting the MOOG brand this go if they are equal in durability,,, input please.

Low price LCA assemblies may have crappy bushing that won’t last, and crappty ball joints too. If you must get the entire assemblies, AC Delco is a fine choice. But best to just replace the bushings, if that’s all that’s bad, with the best available. I don’t like replacing original stuff unnecessarily, because often the old OEM part would have outlasted the new budget aftermarket part.
