I've had remote start problems with my 06 when it's cold out [below zero] or over 80. It will start and die three times. I've narrowed it down to when the defroster or AC are on. Both of these run the AC compressor. The only reason I use remote start is to keep the windows from fogging when it's cold or cool the interior when it's hot. This makes the remote start pretty useless.

Yeah that was what I was thinking but I just can't bring myself to buy a car for work where I drive other peoples children around knowing there is any chance it just won't start up randomly and leave us who knows where.
