GM sport compact build book

is available free online. Mostly for Cobalts, which share a lot of parts from HHR. After attending the Englishtown Ecotec meeting, I learned of theis website. I also got to see some 350 HP 2.4L engines, as well as over 1000HP with turbos. Interesting to see the same engine used in my HHR taking a dragster down the track at over 200 MPH. Here is link for build book

I recall searching for that a couple of years ago. The site that hosted that pdf is long gone.

Thanks! I recall looking for that for a friend of mine a couple of years ago and every search came up a dead end. According to the OP, the other one was 'mostly for Cobalts' and this one appears to be for Saabs (according to the file name) but I'm sure they're similar if not the same.

I think you can see the ecotec manual on GM Performance website. I have seen it there before. You can probably print it off there. It is very detailed as to what parts you need to make a certain amount of power. It also had improvemnents for the auto trans but it was the 4T65EHD.

Thanks that is the one I remember, now if I had info on how much turbo can be turned up without self destructing and inf on beefing up f35 transmission.
