GMignition switch econmic settlement

feb27/25 just recieved 2 documents in the mail today reguarding ignition switches &power steering issues. i had my switch fixed yrs ago & no known issues since. it looks to me that a settlement has ensued and infomation how to make a claim.i am relly not interested to make a claim for a pittance when all that happens is lawyers paaaaaydaaaaay day. did any one else here get these notices, and i wasn't aware of any settlement. not sure if this is for canadians only or usa included. return address is po box 8111 vancouver main vancouver,bc. any information on this subject would be greatly appreciated. regards KEWATIN

The class actions are about value of cars that have had recalls.

I never received an invitation to join the class action.

The breadcrumbs for the U.S. deal lead to a dead link.

PSA - I looked up the case and the “victims” got $73.

I had one affected car but never got anything because I never knew about it so never had a chance to file. Way too late now.

IDK about Canada, but in the U.S., the class action system is a scam. Typically, the defendant gets off easy, the lawyers get most of the money, and the victims are thrown a bone.
