gold line springs

I'm wondering can anyone explain the different generations of Gold Line springs, I just replaced my rear leveling springs with a full set of Eibachs. I bought the GL's in 2008 and never really understood the differences in gen1, gen2 or whatever any insight would be appreciated, even though they're gone now.

Idnt know Eibach was selling their springs as they used my HHR to make the new rear springs as they were selling rear springs for the Cobalt some folks were haveing problums, I had asked Eibach to donate their new springs for our Toms Farm the R&D engr. said they were in protype, would not donate.

GOLD LINE SPRINGS HISTORY

1st generation............ lowest of any springs made for the HHR, harshest ride of any, also. On the market for about a year. Set of 4.

2nd generation........... not as low as first, but much improvement in ride quality. Currently stocked by several vendors. Set of 4

Leveling springs.......... they do just that. Set of 2 (for the rear only).

Thanx for the history lesson, so rear leveling springs from 2008 were just that no generation designation on those right. Did gen 3's ever exist.
