Could be the glove box door was replaced for some reason. Here's where mine lives

OK... I been out and ran some errands.
Stopped and got a build sheet.
My Chevy dealer told me they haven't put the tag in the glove box is several years (he said probably 8 or so) - of course he could be wrong.
It's the LT1 package. It has the 2.2 liter engine
Not sure what all comes "standard" on that package; but it had the full leather interior and steering wheel, sun roof, power drivers seat, heated seats, deluxe exterior trim, deluxe fog lamp, cruise.....
Thanks for the info especially about getting the build sheet. If nothing else it helps to know the 'exact' color on case I decide to take the front license plate bracket off and put in the plugs

Just so you don't misspeak about your car, it's a 1LT.
LT1 is a whole nuther animal in GM's code line.
