Happy car show ending
 

Just got back from my local McDonalds show. Big turnout-58 cars. Since there were so many, they went up to third prize. Very custom 81 Monte Carlo won first place (race engine, custom dash, panals, dual video screens in front, custom paint, etc) and a pro show car-72 Duster done up in full race trim (roll cage, 6 pack hood scoop, very cammed engine, etc) won second. I left area and was hanging out with some buddies when my son came up to me with a trophy. Seems they decided to give out 3 trophies, and I got it!:one: By the way, as last time, my car got a lot of attention. Many people looking and talking to me about it:nuts:

You're catching up on CJ. :bow: The only place I think I could actually enter my HHR is a import tuner type show. :smile: But I would probably still lose because some of them are all blinged out. :red:

This bodes well for all as more folks are taking notice of the HHRs in shows.


We got a surprise trophy when we brought our '64 Corvair to a local show! It caught me off guard to hear our car being announced on the PA!
We do have to get you another camera though. I can make out the images, but....;)

Thanks everybody. It's not like I want to brag-I just want to spread the word about the HHR. Trophies never even entered my mind.
