hello, I just registered here because my girlfriend has a chevy hhr and she does not like the low profile tires. I am trying to figure out if we can put regular profile tires on it instead.

I have already found a thread on this issue and am going to have to look at the size of tires it already has.

Glad you found our Wheels & Tires forum, the important thing to remember is that the tires O.D.(Outside Diameter) can't exceed 26-26.1". If you go larger than that O.D. the inner sidewalls of the front tires will foul on the front strut spring perches.
