I have a pair of 2006 HHRs with the 2.4L, and neither has the oil cooler. I think it was only on earlier 2006s.

I believe your correct, Steve but the ‘06 did have them and from what I remember the orings or the coolant tube rusting out were the main problem. If it’s not there , bonus!

Yeh the cooler was only installed on early 2006's. I know, I have one. (D.O.B. 10/2005)
I just replaced the o-rings and I found them in Deleware.
Not bad since I live in AZ.

Thanks for more info guys. The reason i am looking at this particular 06 is because it belongs to my girlfriends best friend. She purchased a new car and needs this one gone. I just found out today that she has nothing invested in the HHR as it was a gift to her. I think the selling price just went down.....lol.
